For most families choosing on their own — especially when a godparent lives out of town — we think Parish Ready is the clearest option: a single flat fee per participant, a real examination, and a certificate a parish office can verify in about five seconds from any browser.
But we are not the right answer in every case. If your parish or diocese requires a specific program, use that program. If your pastor prefers to prepare families personally, that is entirely proper and always better than any online course. If you want an instructor reading and responding to written reflections, Agapè’s reviewed program offers that and we do not.
